I think I am writing English...I said cheering, nothing about soccer chanting and screaming. No wonder not many new (and old) people are interested in coming. That's it, keep doing it the same old way.
You are writing in English, but it's not real coherent.
I said cheering, nothing about soccer chanting and screaming. No wonder not many new (and old) people are interested in coming.
You're saying people aren't showing up because no one's cheering? Or because they are/they aren't soccer chanting?
And, what do you mean by the same old way? Cheering when the time is right?
Babe, get a real clue what you're talking about and then take some time to try to figure out how to say it.

Well thank you Professor of English Theriv. perhaps you should follow your true calling and go and teach english and leave baseball for people who want to have fun and enjoy it. GO RAMS!GO YOU GOOD THINGS!!! BABE, your post regarding theriv only serves to reinforce the point that you are in fact clueless. You may have read the posts logged by theriv but clearly you are not comprehending the content. Based upon the content of the posts logged here, I would suggest that theriv is in fact a very astute observer of the game at both a local, national and international level. I must be reading different posts than yourself as nowhere have I read that theriv does not enjoy the game nor have fun as a participant or supporter. What I do acknowledge, is the ability of theriv to use the english language proficiently and as such this allows other readers to understand and appreciate the point of view or insight being offered. By all means continue to contribute your posts, but remember that a lack of thought and baseless critical overtones only serves to draw attention to your own grammatical shortcomings.

I like Greer back on the squad. Defensively, covers as much ground as anyone. (Though, I think Narangba has a kid in centre who runs as well as anyone I've seen this year). Fairbrother for extra power? Rodney, I guess, as a reliever. Looks like the Padres connection is working. All good additions. Defensively, except for Greer, I think we'll be going with "utilities" in the outfield tonight. They'll make some catches, but won't run down the balls that Baker (or even Macan or Roxburgh) would. Should be a good series. I'm tipping Qld, winning 2 games to 1.

Another loss tonight for the Rams this time in extra innings.
Hard to win games with a 6/40 or .150 team batting average for the game. Big strikeout numbers as well which doesn't help.
Look forward to a better showing tomorrow.

Why do we have a female softballer as our home logo on our online play by play? Really. Who's marketing this project?? Great game tonight. Home guys came close. Hopefully pick up two wins tomorrow. Attachments:

Great point theriv. I believe the automated scorebook system has a few stock logos to choose from and it's upto the scorers to pick them out on gameday. They already have enough to do game time, not their fault. Let's get some decent Logos uploaded into the RAMs Auto scorebook software.

So where should we start with this now...........

Here is 5 minutes on the Scorers forum, maybe these guys don't have the style of a pro baseballer or the 90mph fastball, but are they hitting the guys throwing the 90mph fastball and getting the guys out that can hit a 90mph fastball, something to think about, I may not know all the players listed below but stats don't lie do they?
These are CORE A grade players, who are all amature baseballers and play for the love of the game and continue to show up year after year and battle and play. Maybe if they were told they had a real chance to play for there state they would show up to the QLD Rams tryouts, but we seem to only have PRo guys out there using this to get back into the game before they head back overseas to minor leagues, and for the record, don't tell me you need a 90mph fastball to get guys out, tonight I saw a lefty throwing for Victoria who didn't hit 85miles an hour and shoved it up our butts! BOOM
Players
FIELDS,Glen, WEST .522 BAYLISS,Steven, IPSW .468 NILSSON,Jay, PADR .460 GREER,Steve, PADR .451 KNIGHT,Jamie, WIND .421 SHORE,Brett, WEST .379 WARDROP,Adam, SPBC .373 SHAW,Tim, INDS .357 TARCA,Tony, WEST .357 PRICHARD,Carlos, PADR .351 HANDY,Craig, IPSW .348 WHITE,Travis, INDS .345 MACAN,Jimmy, WIND .447
Players from the Pacific League Matt Kilby, rhp, Pine Rivers Brent Thomson, 1b, Pine Rivers Lance White, of, All Stars Mark Kearney, rhp, All Stars Buzz Brown, c, Toowoomba Matt Roxburgh, of, Windsor James adams, c, Redlands
Pitchers
1. BATES,Matthew-INDS 2.91 2. DEBERT,Brian-PADR 3.03 4. WOODS,Ryan-WIND 4.60 5. LAIRD,Jim-WEST 5.53
Everyone here as played and pitched in at least 15 games plus etc or has alot of game time to reflect there seasonal stats
And for the record, I bet if more of these guys (Inform Club Players) were playing the crowd numbers would be 5 times what they are, more club players means more fans from Grassroots baseball coming to watch there FRIEND/TEAMMATE/CLUBMATE. What ever we are doing now 3 wins and 14 losses, hmmm can't be the right thing can it?

Averagejoe, great insight into the form of some of the performers in A grade and your suggestion has merit based on using more club guys and the spin off in crowd attendance. I do have an issue with none of your selections coming from the Pacific League.
Herein lies the problem with the current BQI split league and your team selection highlights the imbalance further. Your team is a selection of individuals and their own performances, why then would you not include players from the Pacific League??
There are some quality guys playing in the Pacific, however it appears that because they or more so the team they play for isn't in the perceived top grade then they are not eligible for selection for their state.
Don't penalise individual players for the manner in which the league is managed.
