Outfielders may be Battaglia, Watson and Utting. All played the OF before. More power out there than speed tho. Then again, the adding of battaglia is for his bat, we already have decent speed with Dutton, Lamb-Hunt and Shoey.

Ok, so what's up with no Baker, Linger and Greer. Also Cawford? Isn't Baker top of the batting? Having played outfield before and being a specialist outfielder are 2 different things.

Im not too sure, how was crawfords last outing? Baker and Linger both pro guys, may be restricted. Battaglia for Greer perhaps? Maybe they are after Utility guys, not specialists. Changing things up wont hurt when you look at our record.

If we're looking for outfielders -- how about Jim Macan and Matt Roxburgh. Both have great speed and hit well. Kinda nervous about the outfield we might have this weekend. This is the top level in Australia -- we need top guys out there, someone who can run down a ball.

Linger and Baker out for disciplinary reasons. Not sure about Greer. Crawford has done nothing to retain his place.

It's Padres night on Saturday, shame Greer is out, but I'm sure there is a reason.

It's Padres night on Saturday, shame Greer is out, but I'm sure there is a reason. It's also Carina Redsox night. Both clubs have great Junior numbers and should come out in force for good numbers on Saturday night. It would be great to see previous crowd numbers outmatched just before the Xmas break. I think most so far was about 510 ?

any one know why greer is out this weekend? he is a great outfielder his numbers may be down but he works hard and is very loyal to the team.

Well some have been asking for clubbies to play when doing well statistically and some changes...... seems those who think baseball at this level is an ease will soon find out....good luck Qld I think we just might need it.

Totally Agree. Some decent bats and good defence out of the lineup this weekend. Hmmm?

I think I am writing English...I said cheering, nothing about soccer chanting and screaming. No wonder not many new (and old) people are interested in coming. That's it, keep doing it the same old way.

I doubt coaches are reading what is said and giving the fans what they want. There is no point picking "clubbies" up if they are going to struggle at the next level. What "clubbies" are you talking about? Fair enough you can ask questions about the dropping of Baker, Greer and Crawford. With the record QLD has right now, why not change some things around? Your not going to gain anything by playing the same players that are getting rolled every series. Get some people in that may step up to occasion, few years ago, Alex Jaques called up to the 18 Rams team, first time in a QLD uniform, shadow player etc etc. Ended up being one of the main players for them in winning the National Championship. What im saying is, give some players a shot, you never know who will step up in different situations. No one said it was going to be easy, if it was so easy, everyone would be succesfull.
