Spots 6-8 are still up for grabs. At this stage, only Carina, Rangers and Rapids can't make Major League.

Mudgee over Carina in 10inn. The mound at carina needs to be brought up to standard. The pitching rubber is on the downslope at the back of the mound and your front foot lands at 30 to 40 degrees downhill. My left knee has swollen up and i have not had this happen before. On a positive note, the crowd at carina and the carina team should take much pride in the way they support each other, they have an excellent baseball attitude. Best in the league by far..Credit where its due.

Did you address your concerns to the club officially or to some one in the club, except from the dugout to the pitcher. If not, are you going to address your concerns to the league about the condition and shape of the mound? just wondering On a different note, sorry for calling TIME last night when you were in the set, I was not going to let those idiots BAG my partner in the way they did, and get away with it. Well pitched.

Thanks for the compliment QBUA, Well no i didn't address it on the night to the officals because i figured they would say mind your own business, and get used to it..I have just returned from the world masters where i started every 2nd day for 4inn on BOP 1 and didn't have a single problem or injury from the mound, after 2 inn last night my knee started to swell up from being unable to get a grip on the dirt and as you saw i threw a 50 footer and nearly fell over( opening myself up here)and i saw the carina pitcher struggling as well..Seeing as though mudgee will probably be in the pacific league and i will be going to carina again , i will ask my club to put this issue in writing to the league.Carinas mound is not the only one that is like this, most clubs have mounds that develop a large hole where the front foot lands, It is hard enough dealing with quality hitters to be worried about whether my foot will slip or will i roll my ankle and cause ligament damage..

Padres up against Toowoomba 7-6
Without going into detail, probably one of the most biased games of umpiring I've seen

Im an old Muskets player and I went up to A-Grade last night to watch a friend of mine, and I have to say, that was probably the worst display of umpiring ive seen in quite some seasons.
I feel embarassed for the Rangers club to have that sort of stuff going on. The umpire was making calls before the play had finished and strikes before the ball was caught. There was one occasion where the Rangers player struck out swinging, started walking back to the dugout and the umpire called him back because it was a 'ball'. That player went on to drive in a run and the inning continued. There were probably about 15-20 one-sided strike/ball calls by the end.
The catcher who got ejected from the Redcliffe team in the last inning I think showed amazing patience in the first 8 of the game not to turn around and give the umpire an earful.
Luckily in the end, the better team won, even though it was a lot more than it should have been, but the situation needs to be addressed and REAL umpires need to go up and umpire in Toowoomba.

I'm not one to complain about umpiring but last night at toowoomba was the worst I have seen. One rangers player "checked swing" with 2 strikes was so obvious that he started walking yet both umpires called no swing and he had to return to the batters box. The pitch in the bottom of the 9th, lead off hitter when the padres catcher was ejected was dead set waist high down the middle and called a ball. By the way the catcher was ejected for retaliating from what the batter at the time said to him, not for umpire abuse. The batter remained in the game.

A Grade - Pine Hills 16 Windsor 8
Great afternoon's viewing at the dump. And just a sneaky test of the new camera as well.
