Surfers need 1 more win to be mathematically certain, and Indians need 2. They'll get them no dramas. It looks like at least one club will get in with 7 wins, by the way the ladder is shaping. Rapids v Padres could be pivotal, is that game being replayed? They can still make it to 7 wins and 7 losses, but realistically you'd put a line through All Stars, Narangba and Toowoomba. They're gone if they lose one more game. So really, you have: Padres Musketeers Beenleigh Rapids Mudgeeraba Redlands fighting over 3 spots. Regardless of where Rapids finish in the Prelims, haven't they already failed criteria anyway ?

I don't know, I'm not Baseball Queensland.
But if they have, they can still keep someone else from making it by finishing in the 8.

Rapids can't meet criteria but they can still knock other clubs out if the keep winning. Interesting!

Right, so we have an 8. Pine Hills Windsor Surfers Indians Padres Wests Beenleigh Ipswich what happened with Mudgee? did they not meet criteria? and when I said this: The 8 is starting to take shape now, by the looks of it the 8 was Pine Hills Surfers Indians Wests Mudgeeraba Windsor Padres RapidsMusketeers Beenleigh. so now you have to tip your cap and call me your daddy. Also the Commissioner's Shield games have been announced: B Grade is Windsor v Surfers at PH A Grade is Pine Hills v Windsor at PH Interesting how they landed on Surfers playing that game. I'd have thunk it'd been Padres or Beenleigh. But a week off's a week off, I guess. Time to go fishing (who am I kidding, I'll be buried in a textbook)

Yeah not too sure how the B-grade was calculated there.

Maybe they just wanted a southside team in there I can see "how" it probably happened, but not "why". Somebody would probably have just looked at the tables in the internet (which are sorted by points) which show Surfers above the other 3 teams and just gone on that. I'd have thought the game would have been Windsor v Padres. BQ? Those lazy Pine Hills "B" Bludgers are probably just happy to have the week off anyway..... ;D ;D ;D

Since Mudgee and Ipswich finished A grade with the same record (in 8th and 9th positions) - yet there is no 'playoff game' - should we assume Mudgee did not meet criteria?

All fixed by BQ. Windsor play Padres in B grade. Beenleigh & Padres equal 2nd on percentage, padres beat beenleigh head to head.
