T,
I think you will find there will not be any changes or advise given about these issues until the end of this season, plus any other issues that have been raised from this year in relation to current by laws that do not integrate well with the new format.
My view is that there will be a strong review about what B-grade does for the first half of the season - ie what does the first season really count for in B grade and secondly I would say that everything will start from scratch again in relation to ML and PAC divisions.
BQ i would dare to say will not discuss this matter with the 'public baseball community' until the full season 2009/2010 is over and all the matters from the year have been discussed in full. Its very rare to see any governing sporting organisation discuss ruling changes in full detail mid season.
Just my thoughts.

I don't expect they would nuke, but there was an outcry about the system in place last season and at the end of it BQ were very quick to announce what their plan was for the start of this season.
I guess I'm just getting this out here now for that reason.
I can only hope there's a decent review of B-Grade. We only pay our fees and train like everyone else.

I don't believe there is a better way to grow the standard of Senior baseball in Queensland better then the Promote/relegate idea. If this is the plane a club in lower grades can put a 5 or 10 year plan together to make a team strong enough to play in the major A. For this same reason there is no reason why the SQBL can't be moved up to the Pacific league the same way this way the weaker team in the Pacific league have a reason to fight to be stronger. Has for the Junior requirement to make the major league i personally think this is a mute subject it is a silly notion if all clubs in the majors, pacific, minor leagues can prove that they are promoting the game with out holding back that is all that matters. why should a strong senior side be punished because the demographics in that clubs area is no one of young families, cause without young families living in the area there will be no Juniors. and that is with out the believe that Juniors will gravitate to clubs that have major A sides,
