Can someone explain to me how a team in U14.1 is allowed to be flogged week in and week out? How is that good for those kids or the top 14.1 teams playing them ?
I feel really bad for these kids, they should be in Div2 ( and in my opinion should have been from Game 1 season start , I was there at the 1st season game )
Why doesn't their club request re-grading for the benefit of those kids?
I wont post links, any reply posters can easily figure out who I am concerned about if they wish to reply.
Refer to my other posts, but I believe we should be looking at 3 x U14 Divvys in future if we have 20+ teams, not just 2 Divvys.

The same way a club can have 2 teams in the one division, but contrary to the rules, not have them equally weighted. People have there own selfcentered interests at heart, not the best for the players, the league or the sport.

Hey WM-H, I am not aware of a rule that says a club must equally distribute players to all it's teams in the one division.

Yeah I'd like to see where the rule is because I can name a few clubs that have done this. It seems wmh that you are getting angry at a team that has lost 2 games....and is playing the 2nd place team today. So really you don't have an idea whats going on and I do take offence to your comments!

Hey WM-H, I think there is the real problem, and there are symptoms of the real problem. The real problem here is that the system as it stands allows a team to be put into a division where it is just over its head. These things happen for all sorts of reasons and so the system needs to be flexible enough to deal with them, by moving them to a lower division when it becomes clear that they just aren't suited to their current division.
I think that any measure that says everyone else needs to change their approach to the game, when they play these teams is only dealing with the symptom that the team just isn't suited to this division. It's kind of like making everyone else wear a face mask because one kid has a cold and he's coughing all over the place. It's far better to just deal with that one kid and leave everyone else alone.
I agree with Ramsfan44, let's have 3 divisions!!! I also think that there should be regrading after the first 5 rounds just in case a team is not coping with their initial position. This will make the competition very tight for each division and will really bring out the best of all the divisions. But more importantly, it will let every team experience some wins for the season and hopefully, bring all of their players back again next year.
One thing's for sure, by leaving a team struggling in a division that's too high, it will turn away most of it's players for next year! Have more lower divisions and let them have some fun, rather than punishing the kids for some poor choices made by adults and an inflexible system.
