Bit of a hypothetical, similar to the latest Rocky movie I guess.
If the last Queensland ABL team the Cougars played a series against the current Queensland Rams, both in their prime, who would take it?
Cougars would maybe look like this (please help)
Trent Durrington : 2nd base / Catcher Peter Vogler : Left Field Paul Gorman : 3rd Base Ron Johnson : DH Grant McDonald : Centrefield Steve Hinton : Shortstop David Foxover : 2nd Base /Outfield Brandon Pollard : Right Field Ben Foster : 1st Base Catcher
Pitching : Adrian Meagher / Brett Cederblad / Cameron Cairncross / Clae Calvert /Chris Oxspring
Other players to consider: Peter Hartas, Jason Hockey. Paul Gonzales and Matt Buckley although Queenslanders were playing interstate that year.
Any name you can think of please add to the list and rearange the order.

To do it properly you need to combine the Cougars and Bandits. However, I would have to say the 87 Rams would beat all of them.

The bandits were not in the competition in the last year of the ABL and their best players came over to the Cougars, so in reality, the Cougars had all the best Queensland players in the one team which is why it is interesting to compare that team to the current crop.
