If there is a formal protest on a game. It should be referred to BQ office as per by-laws and protocol and not discussed openly on the forum.
Thank you all for your co-operation in this matter.

It happened and people want to know results and what's happening in baseball.
Why should it be a secret?

so much for freedom of speech. we would just like to know what happened (just the facts, ma'am). the powers that be can formally sit in judgment and mete out punishment...

baseball fan: what happened in the game yesterday?
BQI: we are the borg. lower your shields and prepare to be assimilated. resistance is futile.
baseball fan: umpire's relative on the field, eh? why didn't you say so?

BQ cannot prejudge the outcome yet as we have not received any incident reports. All we have is a game card that has a player and two coaches being ejected. The player went at the top of 4 with the head coach. The replacement coach was ejected at the top of 5. The umpire called the game after 4 complete innings. Rule 4.10e may be the result.

...so after only one player was ejected, they had to forfeit? Surely someone would have stuck around. Where were all the b-graders? The game was called in the 5th after the replacement coach was ejected, not after the player was ejected in the 4th Now was that in the top of the 5th, or was there a third out which caused the ejection which would make it the middle of the 5th and if home team is up they would win (rule 4.10 (C) 2) Our tips are riding on this...............

Rapids did not forfeit due to lack of numbers, the umpire called the forfeit after a disagreement on a call at 1st base followed by some words and a bit of a scuffle at home plate. I was there and trust me the whole ballpark was in shock.

WOW, can not wait to hear about this one, officially of course. I agree with BQ, the possesses have to be followed, and since most of us were not there, how can we comment. We don't want trial by forum or misinformation. Pope, how can this situation effect your tipping. Wouldn't your tipping be based on one team being able to beat another. Does it really matter if a player is suspected, (speculation at this moment). What if a player hurt themselves during the week and could not play that weekend, same thing, you are tipping the team, I think. Why don't we try and fit the rule to the situation. Not what may or may not have happened, but the rules governing an umpire being able to forfeit a game. As usual, happy to hear from you all, maybe.

Sorry, I thought it was obvious- I tipped Padres in this game If they win I get the point, if they lose I don't, and if it's a no result, no-one gets points for the game
