Congratulations to Padres Grey who defeated Narangba Blue last night in the grand final 9-8, was a very tight game and a worthy end to the baseball season.

How about next season the winning LL Major teams from all Regions playoff in the SE QLD LL Club Challenge ? 2 Day tournament.
Played well before LL State Titles though and it would give more kids a chance to play higher level LL other than just those selected for Regional LL teams.

Brisbane North doesn't have enough teams to run LL Majors and Minors, West is part of the BS competition, so you'd really just have Surfers, Pine Hills and Redlands.
Plus, what's wrong with the Little League club tournament midway through the season?

Surfers, Pine Hills and Redlands. quote] Surfers? At the end of the Gold Coast LL majors regular season, Runaway bay finished on top of the table, then Nerang, Mudgee then surfers (Runaway Bay defeated Mudgee in the GF)

Plus, what's wrong with the Little League club tournament midway through the season? I meant the concept for the winning U12 teams only, not a composite team from each club. Each Region would send one team of equal chance. LL Major players in U14 are excluded. Plus, what's wrong with the Little League club tournament midway through the season? It is a great concept but should called U12 GBL Tournament, Not Little League. I have a problem with LL age players in U14 Div1 coming back and playing this Tournament. It should be True U12 only and mainly development for the LL Minor players and younger LL Majors players. The whole LL thing is confusing some people with the U12 age group. They should be kept seperate and just U12 is LL Minors.
