Scorekeeper: I'm not sure if you have any conflicting rules between LL and Australian rules but if you are talking straight LL then IWs are to be pitched up to 15/16s, SrLL. BLLL, 17/18 can just announce the walk.

To Everyone, no one in particular.
The National LL Championships have just finished, and in the eyes of everyone, they were a complete success. We had wet fields on day 1, 2 and day 4, thank the GOD's of Baseball that we were able to get all games in within the time period and all teams were able to play against each other without have to go to count backs.
Remember, the GOD's of Baseball are not individual people and people who do important jobs within a Championship, baseball GOD's are the one's that the kids "thank for blessings" at centre field when they win the World Championships. (I have only seen this once, I believe it to be correct.) If I can get my game completed without rain, lightning, protest and ejections, I thank the baseball GOD's.
Yes, there was only one winner, however, as we say to all teams at the Championship Meeting the night before the Tournament, "ALL TEAMS" are winners to get to the National Championships, but there can only be one winner.
To some decisions on the Rules. 1. As far as I can understand, the phrase "Little League" pertains to many age groups in the Little Green Book, and then they move to the Official Baseball Rule Book as seniors. In Australia, those different age groups are referred to as Junior's.
2a. As within the Australian baseball community, and the regions there in, each region will have they own BYLAWS, to suit they our competitions. (customizing) 2b. When they are competing in any Regional, State or National Championships, they are governed by the Rules and Interpretations that are in place at those Championships.
3. The LL National Championships Rules were pertaining to 2 sections of Rules. a. The Official Australian Baseball Rules. b. The Official Australian Little League Rules for those championships. The Little Green Book would not be referred to unless absolutely necessary, where through over site, a rule would come up which is not covered by the above 3a and 3b Rules. LGB was only referred to once, compared to how many Rulings we made in 34 games.
4. In reference to some previous posting I had made early, I admit that I had alot on my mind, and had posted without sitting back and resting my mind for a time, and making postings without being absolutely sure of my information, for this I apologize for any confusion I may have created.
5. Softball: Baseball is baseball, softball is softball, oranges and lemons. Both citrus fruits but different.
6. Intentional Walks: I'm Australian, never been to the USA for any umpiring camps or tournaments. (in Aust, we throw the pitches for an IW) As an umpire, and knowing why we do things as umpires, and understanding how to manage a game, not just the Calls. The IW with no pitches, is to save time. If you are not looking at only pitch counts, there are alot of different situations that can happen with pitching an IW. IW with no pitches removes these situations. You throw an IW pitch in the wrong place, it could turn into a homerun.
Thankyou, now I need to rest.
